Serving Other's Needs

First Baptist Church Lee's Summit takes seriously the responsibility of fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and obeying the Great Commandment (Matthew. 22:36-39).

Our church participates in a number of exciting missions and ministry outreaches that seek to address the needs of others on every level - spiritual, emotional, and physical. Our involvement in missions and ministry can be grouped under three headings: FBCLS Partners in Missions, FBCLS Mission Projects, and FBCLS Mission Trips.

The Partners in Missions page provides information regarding groups and agencies with which our church cooperates by contributing both monetary resources and volunteer help. The Missions Projects page features outreach ministries that our church directly organizes and supports. The Missions Trips page gives highlights of recent FBCLS mission trips and previews upcoming opportunities.
