FBC Recreation for All Ages

Welcome to the official webpage of the First Baptist Church Lee's Summit (FBCLS) Recreation Ministry! At FBCLS, there are both weekly and annual recreational activities to get plugged into to get a little exercise or just get to know FBCLS folks.

Some weekly activities include: women's/coed aerobics classes and a men's devotion and basketball time. There is also a monthly opportunity for FBCLS scrapbookers to get together on a Saturday, 8 AM-6 PM.

Some annual activities include: a fall volleyball league, Upward Basketball in the winter, CPR and First Aid classes and 3-On-3 Basketball Tournament in the spring and opportunities to play softball in the summer. We hope to see you soon!

I Corinthians 9:25-Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
 

What's Happening?

Additional Childcare Volunteer Opportunities

  • April 23 & 24 - Sixth Grade Retreat - Registration and informatinal forms are at the Children's Ministry information window as well as in the 5th/6th grade class rooms. The cost is $25, and registration and payment are due April 14th.

New Adult Bible Fellowship Classes Beginning April 11 at 10:45 AM

  • Conquering Debt God's Way, led by Doug Driskell in Room ADM-137 - this class will help you to apply the financial principles that God reveals in His Word.
  • Crazy Love, led by John & Joni Notestein in Room ADM-133 - based on the best-selling book by the same title, this exciting study looks at the following question: Is God calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself?
