We tend to separate our lives into compartments of "sacred" and "secular."  We would say that praying is sacred, but mowing the grass is secular.  Reading the Bible is sacred, but reading a chemistry textbook is secular.  Colossians 3:17 obliterates that distinction.  It tells us that every moment can be sacred time.  "Whatever you do" can be done in Jesus' name.  Even the most ordinary, mundane task can become something you do for Christ's sake.  Your daily work can become an act of worship.  Your daily tasks can be done in partnership with him.
