Listen to the Word He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6)

If
you had stumbled upon Michelangelo crafting his famous statue of David
in the early stages of his work on the project, my guess is that you
would not have been overly impressed. You would probably see
nothing more than a big stone mass with a few chunks knocked out of
it. But if you told the artist that his sculpture more closely
resembled Jabba the Hut than it did the Biblical king, he would no
doubt pass along some important information: it isn't finished yet!
Neither are you. Like the statue, you are an
unfinished masterpiece. You may be disappointed with much of what
you see in yourself right now. But the Artist who is shaping you
has some important news: He isn't finished with you yet. And He
will not quit. He will complete the work of forming you into the
person He wants you to become.
