Listen to the Word O
God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my
body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water...
My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods. (Psalm 63:1, 5)

How
satisfied are you? On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate
yourself? Let's say ten means you are completely content, you
have all you need, you wouldn't change anything and you wouldn't trade
places with anyone. And let's say one means you are totally
unsatisfied, you hate your life, and you think there are probably forms
of algae that have it better than you. Where on the scale are you?
We
often live with a sense that something is missing. We spend a ton
of energy trying to fill up on all the wrong things. The
Scripture we will explore this week reminds us that only God can quench
our deepest thirst and satisfy our ultimate hunger.
