God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my
body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water...
My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods.
(Psalm 63:1, 5)

I love how our psalm describes the experience of having our emptiness
filled by God: "My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of
foods." God fills us up! And we're not talking TV dinner
here. We're not talking low salt, low fat, low carb, low flavor
food substitutes. We're talking real food! The good
stuff. Filet mignon, fettuccini alfredo, homemade bread with real
butter, chocolate cake - the richest of foods! God satisfies us,
and He does it right!
