Listen to the Word When
Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, "I
am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless."
(Genesis 17:1)

God
appeared to elderly Abraham and introduced Himself as "God
Almighty." The Hebrew behind that name is El Shaddai. It is
a name that highlights the limitless strength of God. God wanted
Abraham (and you) to know that there are no boundaries to His
ability. There are no problems that are too much for Him, no
challenges too tough for Him to tackle. There is nothing He can't
do! The God you worship is God Almighty.

Live the Word
Is there a problem before you that seems like it may be more than even
God can handle? Lift that problem to Him, and ask Him to work in
a way that confirms His might.
