Listen
to the Word And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the
name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
(Colossians 3:17)

Sometimes you may believe that you can't get close to God because you
spend so much time doing ordinary, unspiritual stuff. You may
wonder how you can get serious about the spiritual life when you spend
most of your waking hours doing laundry, or making sales calls, or
grading exams, or taking exams, or changing diapers. But according
to Colossians 3:17, routine daily activities are actually a great place
to meet God. As you go through the day, wherever you are sitting
can become a sanctuary. Time at the desk, at the dinner table, in
the driver's seat, or at the doctor's office waiting room - it is all
sacred time. Every moment is an opportunity to do life in Jesus'
name. "WHATEVER you do, do it ALL in the name of the Lord Jesus."
