to the Word "May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's
perseverance." (2 Thessalonians 3:5)

Today's Scripture says that God wants you to have more than just a small
dose of perseverance. He wants you to have all of Christ's
perseverance. And He wants to give it to you! He wants to
give you the "never give up" spirit that allowed Jesus to fearlessly
fulfill His mission - a mission He knew would lead to his
execution. God wants to give you the perseverance that enabled
Jesus to endure the cross, resisting the temptation to rescue Himself
from that unthinkable suffering. Jesus kept running the
race. With God's help, you can, too.

prayer, and pray it continually today: "Direct my heart into Your love
and Christ's perseverance."
