Rachel House - helps meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those who seek assistance in dealing with an unplanned pregnancy through counseling, on-site medical care, and assistance with material needs in an atmosphere of compassion and confidentiality.


Hope House – serves as a shelter for women who are victims of domestic violence and abuse.  It offers protection and guidance to those trying to put the pieces of their lives back together.
Forest Avenue Homeless Shelter – provides temporary lodging for homeless individuals and families while encouraging them to seek employment and offering Christian counsel and support.


Souper Bowl of Caring – an annual event occurring on Super Bowl Sunday that is designed to combat hunger.  Our church has received special offerings this day for Lee’s Summit Social Services and to feed the hungry in Guatemala.


Operation Christmas Child – this effort, organized by Samaritan’s Purse, seeks to provide Christmas presents and a gospel witness for children who otherwise would receive nothing at Christmas time.


Missouri Baptist Children’s Home – our church supports the ministry of the Children’s Home through participation in the annual Apple Festival through quilt auctions, apple fritter sales, and other activities.


City Union Mission – provides shelter and food for the homeless in Kansas City.  Encourages job training and responsible living in a Christian environment.


Lee's Summit Social Services – provides emergency relief to needy families and individuals in the form of food, clothing, furniture, and financial assistance with utility bills.


Hillcrest Transitional Housing – helps move families from homelessness to self-sufficiency in 90 days by providing rent-free housing and life skills training and counseling in a Christian environment.


Feed the People Ministries – provides a warm meal to the homeless and needy every Saturday.
