Do you want to study the Bible on your own, but you aren’t sure how?  Or are you stuck in a rut and want to learn some fresh ways to dig into Scripture?  This study is for you.  We will seek to grow in our ability to love, understand, and apply God’s Word by learning eight different methods of personal Bible study.  We will also be introduced to several helpful resources and tools that aid in Bible study.

“Experiencing God”
September 2010

Over the years God has used the truths of this study to awaken believers to a radically God-centered way of life.  As a result, millions have come to know God intimately, to recognize His voice, and to understand His will for their lives.  God is inviting you to experience Him in an intimate love relationship through which He reveals to you His will, His ways, and His work.  Through the biblical principles in this course, God can teach you how to (1) know when He is speaking to you; (2) recognize His activity around you; (3) adjust your life to Him and His ways; (4) identify what He wants to do through you; and (5) respond to His activity in your life.

“Five Things God Uses to Grow Your Faith”

What adjective best characterizes your faith?  Dynamic…genuine…flourishing…elusive… stalled…or ineffective?  Imagine how different your outlook on life would be if you had absolute confidence that God was with you.  Imagine how differently you would respond to difficulties, temptations, and even good things if you knew with certainty that God was in all of it and was planning to leverage it for good.  In other words, imagine what it would be like to have PERFECT faith.  In this DVD-driven study, well-known speaker and author, Andy Stanley, builds a biblical case for five things God uses to grow BIG faith.
