“I'm Curious About Faith, But...”

Many intelligent people who explore Christianity stop short of embracing faith because of some difficult questions that arise. Is it really possible that Jesus rose from the dead? Does science make faith unnecessary? Don’t other religions basically teach the same thing? If God is real, why is there so much suffering? How can we embrace Christianity when the church is full of hypocrites? We will explore these big questions together on Sunday mornings beginning Easter Sunday, from April 20 through May 18. If you have some big questions about faith, or if you want some help learning how to address questions you hear from your friends, don’t miss this series of messages.

April 20 – “What About the Resurrection?”

April 27 – “What About Science?”

May 4 – “What About Other Religions?”

Dec 1 – Dec 22 Series: Focus on Jesus
It is easy to get distracted during the Christmas season. All the lights, gifts, ribbons, bows and other shiny things grab our attention, and before we know it we have zipped through the holiday without paying attention to the Baby who is supposed to be at the center of it all. We must heed the advice of the book of Hebrews: “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus.” During this message series, we will explore some of the portraits of Christ that we find in the book of Hebrews, and we will seek to reset our focus squarely on him.

Dec 1 -- “Fully God” -- Hebrews 1:1-4
Dec 8 -- “Fully Human” -- Hebrews 2:17-18
