1stKids Choirs Program on May 4
On May 4 at 6:30 PM, the 1stKids Choirs will be presenting ‘The Puzzling Mystery’.  The CMSI (Children’s Music Series Investigation), with the help of all three choirs, will be using a giant crossword puzzle to learn about God’s love.

Kid’s Praise Music Camp
“Kid’s Praise Music Camp is back!  Children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to come July 27 – August 1 from 9:00 – 11:30 AM each day.  We will be exploring all types of music and drama working towards our presentation on August 3 at 6:30 PM for the congregation.  Your child must be enrolled by June 6 to attend.  The cost is $30 and flyers are available at the Children’s Welcome Center.

“On Sunday, August 10, at 6:30 PM, the Link Family will be presenting their bluegrass style music in a concert at First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit.  The Link Family is a true family band, featuring Dad, Mom and five children from Lebanon, Missouri.  They are having the "time of their lives" traveling on their Silver Eagle bus and sharing their music in churches, bluegrass festivals, theaters, Silver Dollar City, RV Parks, US Military bases and miscellaneous events.”

“First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit, MO, presents speaker and artists onetimeblind on Sunday, August 17, at 6:30 PM.  onetimeblind is a nationally known group of performing artists based in Detroit, Michigan.  Building a solid reputation in ministry since 1994, onetimeblind uses skits, music, stories, and personal testimony to communicate to their audiences.  They travel internationally and have spoken to nearly one million people at churches, conferences, and many other events.  This event is open to all ages and admission is free.

Journey Bound Quartet on August 24 (journeyboundquartet.org)
“For about 15 years now, Journey Bound Quartet has been bringing southern gospel music to audiences around the upper Midwest.  Their ministry in music has been used by God to bring the message of salvation to the lost and to bring encouragement, hope, and inspiration to thousands of Christians who love the Lord and desire to live more fully to His Glory.  They will be sharing that music with us at First Baptist Church in Lee’s Summit on Sunday, August 24, at 6:30 PM.  Everyone is welcome!”
